1. About World in a Dish

World in a Dish is a trade name (DBA) of Allhands Kitchen LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. References to “World in a Dish,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these terms refer to Allhands Kitchen LLC.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, booking our kitchen space, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

3. Description of Services

World in a Dish operates a community kitchen and gathering space located at 13027 NE 85th St, Suite 110, Kirkland, WA 98033. We offer cooking classes, experience classes, and private event kitchen rentals for team building, social gatherings, and related activities.

4. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and must be made through our website.
  • Payment is required at the time of booking and is processed securely through Stripe.
  • A security deposit may be required for private event bookings. The deposit amount is specified at the time of booking and is refundable per the deposit policy, provided no damage or policy violations occur.
  • Pricing is listed on our website and is subject to change without notice for future bookings.
  • All prices are subject to applicable Washington State sales tax (currently 10.4% for Kirkland, WA).
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. Minors may attend classes and events only when supervised by a responsible adult who has made the booking.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before the booking start time are eligible for full store credit for the rental fee.
  • Cancellations made 3–6 days before are eligible for 50% store credit for the rental fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before are non-refundable.
  • Security deposits are refunded in full upon cancellation if the booking start time has not passed.
  • To change your date, cancel for store credit and rebook. Store credit is applied automatically at checkout.
  • No-shows result in forfeiture of both the rental fee and the security deposit.

Store credit can be used for future cooking classes or kitchen rentals. Store credits are valid for five (5) years from the date of issuance, in accordance with Washington State law (RCW 19.240). Full cancellation and no-show policies are presented during the booking process and must be agreed to before completing a reservation.

6. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to SMS, you consent to receive text messages from World in a Dish. You may receive:

  • Booking confirmations, reminders, and updates
  • Promotional messages (if you have separately opted in to marketing communications)

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP to cancel and stop receiving messages.
  • Reply HELP for help or contact info@worldinadish.com.

World in a Dish and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to receive SMS messages from World in a Dish.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or booking. You may complete a booking and use our services without opting in to text messages.

7. Use of Premises

When using our kitchen space, you agree to:

  • Leave the kitchen clean and in the condition found
  • Not exceed the maximum guest count (25 guests)
  • Follow all safety guidelines and posted instructions
  • Not remove any equipment from the premises
  • Vacate the space by the end of your reserved time block
  • Report any damage or injuries immediately

Violation of these terms may result in termination of your rental, forfeiture of fees and deposit, and liability for damages.

8. Limitation of Liability

World in a Dish provides the kitchen space and equipment on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from your use of the premises, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. By completing a booking, you agree to the liability waiver presented during the booking process.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of World in a Dish and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in King County, Washington.
