Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read the booking terms carefully. You must scroll to the bottom and agree before proceeding.
All fees are in U.S. dollars (USD).
Rescheduling: You may reschedule once without incurring the $50 reschedule fee, provided the request is made at least 48 hours before your booking start time. Subsequent reschedules require a non-refundable $50 fee each. If your new time block has a different rental rate, you authorize World in a Dish to charge the price difference to your original payment method, or you will receive a refund of the difference to that same payment method. Please note: Once you reschedule, your booking becomes non-cancellable. You may continue to reschedule to different dates, but you will no longer be able to cancel for a refund. If you are unsure whether you can attend, we recommend canceling first (per the cancellation policy) rather than rescheduling.
Cancellation & Refunds: You may cancel at any time. Refund amounts are based on the time between cancellation and your scheduled booking start:
- More than 168 hours (7 days) before start: 100% of rental fee refunded
- 72–168 hours (3–7 days) before start: 50% of rental fee refunded
- Less than 72 hours before start: rental fee is non-refundable
Your $250 security deposit is refunded in full upon cancellation if your booking start time has not yet passed. If your booking start time has passed, the deposit is not refunded.
Important: Once a booking has been rescheduled, it is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund. Rescheduled bookings may only be rescheduled again to a different date — they cannot be canceled. This applies regardless of how far in advance the rescheduled booking is. If you are considering canceling, you must do so before rescheduling.
No-Show: If you do not attend your booking and do not cancel prior to your booking start time, the rental fee and security deposit are forfeited. This is not a penalty — it reflects the loss of the reserved time block, which cannot be offered to other clients. If you experience an emergency that prevents cancellation before your start time, contact info@worldinadish.com within 24 hours. We will review requests for accommodation on a case-by-case basis, though we are not obligated to issue a refund.
Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event that the kitchen is made unavailable due to circumstances beyond either party’s control — including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, power outage, or government-ordered closure — World in a Dish will offer a full reschedule at no charge or a full refund of both the rental fee and security deposit, at the client’s choice.
Security Deposit: Your $250 deposit is separate from the rental fee. Following your booking, the space will be assessed for cleanliness, damage, and timely departure. Your deposit is typically refunded within 7 business days of your booking if no issues are found. If any portion of the deposit is withheld, you will be notified within 48 hours of your booking end time with a written explanation and supporting documentation (photos where applicable). You may dispute a deposit withholding by contacting info@worldinadish.com within 14 days of notification. World in a Dish reserves the right to pursue additional costs beyond the deposit amount if damages exceed $250, with reasonable documentation provided.
Refund Processing: All refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically process within 5–7 business days.
By completing this booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
